Micron reported after the September 30 close that fiscal Q4 2026 revenue was $54.23 billion, versus $41.46 billion in the preceding fiscal quarter. Full-year fiscal 2026 revenue was $133.19 billion. Q4 ended September 3; it was not the calendar fourth quarter, and its revenue was not the annual figure. Management guided fiscal Q1 2027 revenue to $61.5 billion, plus or minus $1.5 billion, an outlook for the next fiscal quarter.
October 1 was the first full US regular session after the report. Micron gained about 3.0%, semiconductor ETF SMH 1.4%, and Coherent 10.9%. Revenue the company called a record can coexist with a roughly 3% share-price gain. Results, guidance, and prior valuation all enter the price. Without contemporaneous consensus, the return cannot be called a disappointment or rejection of memory demand. Figures published after hours cannot explain the September 30 regular close either.
The optical company’s larger gain does not supply a comparable revenue increment. Micron added current revenue and a forward guide to memory research; Coherent could still be responding to its own company, industry, or market factors. Those operating records do not prove another company’s revenue or establish that next quarter’s guidance will be delivered.
